Job Description: Sr. Front-End Web Developer
Duration: contract to hire.

• Client is looking for a hands on front end developer with more creative experience rather than development experience.
• This person will have to be hands on but they are looking for someone who will take on a leadership role – lead at meetings etc.
• They need a good communicator with strong, hands on css, javascript and html.
• Client is looking for a self-motivated candidate who can quickly turn design and wireframes into functional pages and contribute to idea generation and development.
• Turn around time is usually short and fast paced. Consultant will work very closely with others in the creative department, especially designers, copywriters marketing coming up with new ideas and ways to interact with our users..
• Must be fluent in Javascript, XHTML and CSS. Experience with Flash/ActionScript is a plus.
• Attention to detail & strong communication skills are critical.
• Knowledge of Photoshop slicing and saving optimized images for web is crucial.
• Client has adopted jQuery as there JavaScript library and often use lash/actionscript elements.
• Experience with both would be a major asset to any candidate.
Qualifications:
• Developing, modifying, and maintaining hand coded CSS and XHTML that is standards-compliant, accessible, semantic, cross-browser compatible
• Advanced Javascript
• Cross-browser development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Wireframes and Proof-of-concept mockups
